Sound Discoveries: Music for Life,
Music for a Career, Music for the Community
Sound Discoveries is a comprehensive program that involves the
Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and its musicians in the educational,
cultural and entertainment life of Greater Cincinnati. Recent
studies by educators, psychologists, sociologists, musicians
and the CSO itself indicate there are needs, values and benefits
for the entire community in the collaborations and services
provided by this program. With the support of The Corbett Educational
Endowment established by Patricia Corbett and The Corbett Foundation,
the components of this program are made available at very little
cost or, in some cases, with only a small honorarium that is
recycled into music and arts education programs.
