Louis Langrée | Music Director
  The French conductor Louis Langrée is Music Director of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Chief Conductor of the Camerata Salzburg and Music Director of the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center in New York. TDuring his second season with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra he will conduct gala concerts with both Lang Lang and Yo Yo Ma and lead the orchestra in world premiere performances by Caroline Shaw, Daniel Bjarnason and André Previn. John Morris Russell | Pops Conductor


Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell has consistently won international praise for his extraordinary music-making and visionary leadership. An acclaimed conductor and innovative programmer who previously served for eleven years as Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra from 1995 to 2006, Mr. Russell officially takes up the baton as Conductor of the Cincinnati Pops in September 2011. Celebrating his tenth anniversary as Music Director of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in 2010-2011, Mr. Russell has fostered a decade of unprecedented artistic growth and has invigorated the musical life of the Windsor-Essex region. A two-time recipient of Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor’s Award for the Arts, as well as the Ontario Arts Council’s Vida Peene Award for Artistic Excellence, Maestro Russell and the WSO have also won coveted nominations for both the Gemini Awards (2004) and Juno Awards (2008). Paavo Järvi | CSO Music Director Laureate
  Grammy award winning Paavo Järvi is now in his fourth season as Music Director of the Orchestre de Paris and this season returns with the orchestra to Japan, Ho-Chi Minh City, the BBC Proms, Enescu Music Festival Bucharest, and Vienna’s Musikverein for a three-concert residency. They also appear in Alte Oper Frankfurt’s Stravinsky Focus. In 2012/13 Järvi was appointed Commandeur de L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture, for his contribution to music in France.More...
Jesús López-Cobos | CSO Music Director Emeritus




Spanish-born Jesús López-Cobos recently completed a seven-year tenure as Music Director of the Teatro Real in Madrid in 2010. He maintains the title of Conductor Emeritus of the Orquesta de Castilla y Leon as well as Conductor Emeritus of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, having served as the orchestra’s Music Director from 1986-2001. Under his leadership for 15 seasons, the orchestra earned international acclaim for its tour performances and its extensive catalogue of recordings for Telarc. More...
