The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present three exciting Workshops for Educators as part of Sound Discoveries: Music for Life.* These workshops provide a forum for educators, parents, and interested others to gain ideas, strategies and skills for integrating music with curriculum to enhance learning.
These two-hour workshops provide interactive learning experiences followed by dinner and up to four tickets for the evening’s concert by the world renowned Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

This kick-off event looks at science concepts in a new way as we explore nature, the earth and MUSIC! This interactive workshop will look at music and the environment to make new connections. We’ll explore the “Urban Garden,” create a “Sound Garden” and by the end of the session, you’ll have some cool musical and scientific perspectives to share with your students. |

See it, Hear it, Teach it – Discovering Arts Through the Ages**

This workshop will take place at Music Hall’s Corbett Tower. |
Discovering Arts Through the Ages will explore the question of how to use music to make history more concrete and interactive. We’ll take historic periods, add some music, and identify the key elements through a variety of interactive arts experiences. (Some visual elements from this workshop will be incorporated in the All About Style: Music Through the Ages concerts in February.) |
