CSO Weekend: December 2-3, 2006
Kwamé Ryan conducting; Colin Currie, percussion.
Mr. Currie, a charismatic young percussionist who's earning international acclaim, will perform the thrilling Alberich Saved by American composer Christopher Rouse. Also: Schumann's radiant Symphony No. 2, and Wagner's Siegfried Idyll, a musical gift to his wife after the birth of their son.
