CSO Weekend: Reflections on America
February 22-23, 2008
One of the greatest living composers, John Adams brings two of his most profound works to Music Hall. The Pulitzer Prize-winning On the Transmigration of Souls commemorates the victims of 9/11. And the dazzling violinist Leila Josefowicz returns for the expansive Dharma, expressing the composer's "shock of recognition" when reaching the edge of the continent at Big Sur.
"Ms. Josefowicz's musicality is as dazzling as her technique." New York Times
