Paavo Järvi leads a concert featuring music from his native Estonia. Arvo Pärt’s highly charged minimalism gives way to the musical drama of Eino Tamberg’s trumpet concerto in the hands of the master who recorded it, “the greatest trumpeter on earth” Håkan Hardenberger. We close with the last great symphony of Austrian composer Anton Bruckner.
