CSO Weekend: Russian Epics

The heart and soul of Russia are revealed when one of the greatest talents of his generation performs Rachmaninoff's blockbuster Third Piano Concerto, music known for its central role in the Oscar-winning film, Shine. Then Paavo and the CSO demonstrate their powerful chemistry in Shostakovich's monumental 10th Symphony. Come say bon voyage to Paavo and the CSO as they prepare to take this program on tour to Europe.
