Ron Bohmer, vocalist
Ron Bohmer is a native of Cincinnnati and a member of
the very first graduating class of Cincinnati’s School
for Creative and Performing Arts. From his Broadway debut
as Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof to his current portrayal
of Sir Percival Glyde, the villain in The Woman in White,
Mr. Bohmer has earned a reputation as one of Broadway’s
most versatile leading men. He also has starred as the Phantom
in The Phantom of the Opera, Joe Gillis in Sunset
Blvd. (Jefferson Award “Best Actor” nomination)
and Alex in Aspects of Love. He won a 2005 Drama Desk
Award for his off-Broadway roles in the long-running comedy
hit, Forbidden Broadway.
Regional credits for Mr. Bohmer include the title role in
Floyd Collins at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Billy
in Anything Goes at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and
the title role in the U.S. premiere of Dracula at North
Shore Music Theatre. His television credits include Law
& Order SVU, Rescue Me and As The World
Turns. He can be heard on the national tour cast recordings
of Sunset Blvd., The Thing About Men and Forbidden
Broadway-S.V.U. as well as two solo CDs — Everyman
and Another Life.
