Daniel
Logan
Daniel Logan was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on June 6,
1987. He began acting when he was 10 years old. He got his
break when he was among hundreds of young rugby players who
auditioned for a television commercial. Daniel got the part,
which was his first acting role.
“I played a little boy who gets knocked in the mud by
[Auckland rugby star] Michael Jones,” Logan recalls.
“I’ve always been a show-off!”
Daniel’s career developed with more commercials and
TV appearances, including a recurring role in episodes of
the New Zealand medical series, Shortland Street. He
also has been seen in the international hit, Hercules:
The Legendary Journeys. He starred in the short film,
Falling Sparrows, and provided the lead and supporting
voices in the animated films, Tamota and Takapu.
At the top of this young actor’s resume sits Star
Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones and Star
Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. Logan won
the coveted part of Boba Fett after just one audition.
As Darth Vader himself would say, “Impressive, most
impressive.”
