What's Interesting

  • “Percussion magician” (Herald Scotland) Colin Currie brings flair to the groove and color of Aho's Percussion Concerto. He'll play seven groupings of 17 instruments in an athletic display of percussion prowess.
  • Sibelius’ Fifth develops a theme inspired by the luminous calls of swans in flight into ascending spirals of orchestral colors and textures.
  • This program explores connections between nature and the sacred, which inspired the Friday Orange theme of Ritual. April 12 is the final Friday Orange of the 18/19 season, and is also a CSO Encore YP series concert.
