Student Ambassadors

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and The May Festival are seeking undergraduate or graduate students to serve as Student Ambassadors! Rolling applications are accepted throughout the year.

What is the Student Ambassador program?
This program is a unique and competitive volunteering opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students in the Cincinnati region interested in learning about the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and May Festival. 

What is an Ambassador's role?
Students volunteer on average 4-12 hours per month, completing fun and socially interactive tasks around their campus and at Music Hall. Ambassadors work closely with CSO administrative staff to promote membership for Student Access (the CSO college student ticket program) and increase student attendance at concerts. Tasks may include staffing a CSO table at college event, volunteering at Music Hall during a performance, distributing promotional materials, posting to social media, and other related tasks that help to raise awareness about the orchestra on campus and with your peers.

Each Student Ambassador also receives a complimentary Student Access Plus membership, which allows you to attend unlimited CSO concerts, in addition to discounted tickets for their friends, and other benefits.

Qualifications:

• Must be a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
• Have a passion for music, dance, visual art, design, or other art forms
• Have an interest in promoting classical music
• Be able to commit an average of 2-3 hours per week
• Be available to occasionally meet with CSO staff
• Have the ability to be flexible and think outside of the box
