Young People's Concerts

anchor

Each year thousands of students experience great orchestral music live in Cincinnati! The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra presents Young People’s Concert field trips for students, teachers, and homeschool families. Approximately 50 minutes in length, the CSO Young People’s Concerts for grades 1-4 & 5-8 have been designed to be educational, interactive and entertaining! Each concert has an accompanying Teacher’s Guide with standards-based lesson plans for music specialists and classroom teachers. High school groups are encouraged to attend our CSO/CSYO Side-by-Side Concert, or enjoy a CSO Friday morning concert featuring world-renowned guest soloists.

Learn more about the 2016-2017 Young People’s Concert programs below, and explore the many ways to extend the experience into your classroom through curriculum guides, Musicians In Schools presentations, Mindful Music Moments, and our #InsideTheOrchestra Melody Contest!
