Inspirations as a musician: I draw inspiration from everything I experience and observe–people, art, stories, nature–but I have to say my biggest inspiration is hearing my amazing colleagues play every day in the CSO!

What are your favorite things to do in Cincinnati? Fritz was born just as I started here in Cincinnati, so one of my favorite things to do has been going to the Cincinnati Zoo and watching him grow.

Hobbies: I enjoy crocheting, baking, west coast swing dancing, hiking and spending time with my friends and family.

How can the Orchestra make the world a better place? One of many ways that the orchestra makes the world a better place is the same way in which all music makes its impact. Music, especially live music, has a way of reaching parts of ourselves that are inaccesible otherwise. Music allows us to feel more deeply, and it provides a gateway for introspection. It inspires us, motivates us, and gives us a sense of belonging and unity. Music allows us to be better, more fulfilled humans–and better humans can create a better world.
