Inspiration as a musician: The rich performance traditions found in all genres of music as performed by master musicians throughout time.
Favorite orchestral work: Mahler Symphony No. 5 (IV movement, Adagietto)
Activities/organizations outside of the CSO: I spend lots of time listening and performing with Jazz and classic rock blues musicians.
Current playlist: My favorite artists on saxophone, classic jazz, and rock guitarists, The Beatles, Steely Dan, jazz standards, Bach and Mozart violin and piano works.
Favorite things to do in Cincinnati: Eat good food and listen to good music!
Hobbies: Studying and practicing martial arts, saxophone and jazz guitar.
How can the Orchestra make the world a better place? By reaching out to people through music as a conduit, we extend ourselves in unique ways that can stir the soul at its very core and essence.
