Where do you draw inspiration from as a musician? Really anything to do with outside. For me, it’s all about engaging with my environment in a slower and more intentional way. Recently it’s been cycling through the beautiful roads of Northern Kentucky. There is just something about being outside that fills that creative well and gets me excited to create music with my colleagues.

Favorite orchestral work? Probably Schoenberg’s Veklärte Nacht or Britten’s Peter Grimes

What's on your playlist? Right now it’s lots of Alice Coltrane, Thom Yorke, Don Cherry, Townes Van Zandt, Stereolab, Sam Gendel and a little bit of Doc Watson. But this is always changing

What are your favorite things to do in Cincinnati? Local shows and exploring the nooks and crannies of the city by bike!
