The Power of Small: A Virtual Young People’s Concert

Sit down with the whole family to explore how composers Ludwig Van Beethoven and Louise Shropshire used small ideas to forever transform music and the world. This free, live-stream event is hosted by CSO Assistant Conductor François López-Ferrer and Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell, and includes audience Q&A after the show! Live from Music Hall

On Sat May 16, 2020, on the occasion of what would have been the CSO's 125th season finale, Louis Langrée hosted a live, physically distanced performance of Mahler's Piano Quartet, played to an empty hall. Also on the program: the first piece written for The Fanfare Project, composed by CSO Creative Partner Matthias Pintscher for Principal Oboist Dwight Parry.
