The Nouveau Program nurtures student musicians from backgrounds that are underrepresented in orchestral music at no cost to participants.

In partnership with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, we're working to remove barriers so that extraordinary musicians can achieve their full potential—to ensure that every voice is heard.

This 5-day institute provides pre-professional and area high school brass players with high-level instruction and mentorship by musicians of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra brass section and Miami University brass faculty.
