The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Summer Brass Institute offers exciting enrichment opportunities for advanced brass musicians. Housed at Miami University's Oxford, Ohio campus, this week-long institute provides pre-professional and area high school brass players with high-level instruction and mentorship by musicians of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra brass section and Miami University brass faculty.

High School Scholars Program

Calling high school brass musicians from the Cincinnati area! Explore the world of brass chamber music alongside professional counterparts from the CSO and Miami University. In this week-long intensive, students will work on refining technique and elevating musicianship through the chamber repertoire, with special opportunities to network and perform in venues across the region.

Orchestral Training Fellowship

Designed to prepare musicians for positions in major orchestras around the world, this pre-professional fellowship will include intensive daily coaching sessions by seasoned professionals, mock audition experiences, masterclasses on a variety of audition and job retention topics, and ensemble performance opportunities.
