Presented through a regional partnership of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Miami University.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Summer Brass Institute offers exciting opportunities for advanced brass musicians from high school through pre-professional. Housed at Miami University's Oxford, Ohio campus, this week-long institute takes place June 5-12, 2023 and provides brass players with high-level instruction and mentorship by musicians of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra brass section and Miami University brass faculty.

: Calling all tri-state area brass players! Want to spend a week learning from the pros? Apply today for the CSO Brass Institute.

This free, week-long intensive program provides young musicians the opportunity to refine their skills, techniques and musicianship with CSO brass players and Miami University brass faculty. The week culminates in performances in Oxford, Ohio and Washington Park in front of iconic Music Hall in downtown Cincinnati.

: This unique experience invites students from Princeton High School and Winton Woods High School to join Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra brass players and Miami University brass faculty for a two-day day camp. Apprentices will spend their days learning & refining instrumental technique and developing musicianship through playing chamber music with their peers.

This program is free for students of Princeton and Winton Woods High Schools; transportation is provided.

: Designed to prepare musicians for positions in major orchestras around the world, this pre-professional fellowship will include intensive daily coaching sessions by seasoned professionals, mock audition experiences, masterclasses on a variety of audition and job retention topics, and ensemble performance opportunities.

The Orchestral Training Fellowship will select 4 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones and 2 Tubas for participation.

Chosen participants will receive a fellowship for the full cost of the program including accommodation and meals.
