What's Interesting

Love and fellowship ring throughout Music Hall for one of Cincinnati's most anticipated musical traditions of each year! JMR leads the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Classical Roots Community Choir, Nouveau Program and special guest artists in an evening of inspirational music and poetry encompassing a variety of genres from Gospel to Hip-Hop.

Highlights of the program will include music from the Tony Award-winning musical and newly adapted film The Color Purple and a gospel and hip-hop tribute to the 200^th anniversary of Friedrich Schiller’s “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

Guest Artist Highlight: Hi-Tek

Firmly entrenched as one of urban music’s most dynamic, respected and prolific producers, Hip-Hop artist Hi-Tek has has produced material for 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Anderson Paak, among others. Hi-Tek was also a 2022 inductee to the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame. He joined fellow honorees Bootsy Collins, Dr. Charles Fold, Otis Williams and the Charms, and the Isley Brothers. Hi-Tek is the first and only hip-hop artist honored among these musical icons.
