Crown Jewels of Jazz

HONORING THE 150th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BOND HILL COMMUNITY

JMR brings the Cincinnati Pops to the lawn of St. Aloysius on August 10 at 6:30pm for their inaugural appearance on the Crown Jewels of Jazz series, a long-standing jazz series held during July in Cincinnati’s Bond Hill community. They are joined by Cincinnati jazz icons Kathy Wade and JD Allen for the free performance celebrating the 150th anniversary of Bond Hill and all things jazz—from its roots in gospel and blues though its development into the great American art form that took the world by storm—including Cincinnati’s own contributions to the genre. The Cincinnati Pops appearance in the Crown Jewels of Jazz series is made possible by the Anonymous Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
