What performances will you have this fall?

• Due to the ongoing COVID health crisis, all previously announced performances through January 3, 2021 are cancelled. We are excited to announce plans for a series of free, digital LIVE FROM MUSIC HALL performances. View details.
  

What is happening with spring 2021 concerts—the second half of the 20/21 season?

• We are planning on having regular concert activity after January 3, 2021. There may be changes to programs or artists to accommodate updated travel restrictions and health guidelines. We continue to monitor the evolving situation closely and remain in active communication with top health professionals. Any changes in plans will be actively communicated with audiences.

When will Music Hall re-open?

• We are planning on regular concert activity resuming after January 3, 2021. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation and are in active communication with top health professionals as well as Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA), which manages the facility, and our fellow resident arts companies. We are actively planning for re-opening as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, CAA is hosting some private events inside Music Hall this summer and fall, in accordance with the latest government health and safety protocols for private events.

Why should I keep my subscription for the 20/21 season?

• If you maintain your subscription, in part or in full, with us for the 20/21 season, you will:
• Maintain your seating priority for the 21/22 season. (Curated Subscribers will get to keep their same seats, and Choose Your Own Subscribers will maintain seating priority over new CYO subscribers and single ticket buyers.)
• Receive a Digital All-Access Pass, which includes advance/on-demand access to the seven LIVE FROM MUSIC HALL performances plus behind-the-scenes bonus digital content with the artists.
• Have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to sustain your Orchestra.

Will I still be able to keep my seats for the 21/22 season?

• Yes, subscribers holding curated, same-seat packages will keep their same seats as long as you maintain partial or full investment in our 20/21 season, which includes donating your tickets, putting them “on account,” or transferring to a gift certificate.
  “Curated” Subscribers: CSO Series 1, 2 & 3 and Pops Friday, Saturday & Sunday subscribers who choose to maintain their subscription by choosing any of the options listed above will automatically keep their same seats for the 21/22 season.
  Create Your Own (CYO) Subscribers: will maintain their seating priority over new CYO subscribers and single ticket buyers, but are not guaranteed their same seats.

I am not a current subscriber and would like advance live stream access and bonus content, how can I get access to that?

• Anyone not currently subscribing to the CSO or Pops can get advance live stream access and additional bonus content with a Digital All-Access Pass by making a gift of $125 or more to the Orchestra Fund. Visit https://www.cincinnatisymphony.org/donate to donate and view additional benefits.

Will you continue to offer digital performances in the spring?

• We intend to continue to provide a way to experience the Orchestra digitally in addition to producing concerts at Music Hall beginning in January. We are in the planning phase of what this can look like and look forward to sharing details this Fall.

What is the best way to watch Live From Music Hall concerts at home?

• There is no right or wrong way to view the performances. It is your home, so you make the rules! For some helpful tips view our Create a Concert Hall at Home Guide and our How to Watch Guide. 

I am a subscriber or donor with an All-Access Pass, how do I view the bonus content and Live From Music Hall concerts on-demand?

• Go to cincinnatisymphony.org/allaccess, enter the unique password that was mailed or emailed to you and enjoy!
• We are working hard behind the scenes and content will continue to be added throughout the season.
• If you forgot your password or never received it, give our friendly Box Office staff a call at 513.381.3300 or send us an email at [email protected]. We are happy to assist you MON-FRI 10-2 and from 6-9 on live stream days.

I don't use social media. Can I watch the concerts?

• The CSO website, cincinnatisymphony.org/live, will be a “one-stop shop” for obtaining access to the digital concerts and content we are producing this fall. 
• Don’t have digital access? We hope you can catch one of our Live From Music Hall simulcasts in Washington Park or Fountain Square. You can also see us at our CSO In Your Neighborhood pop-up performances throughout the community.

Will there be any interactive features or Q&A opportunities with the digital performances?

• Yes! All of our Live From Music Hall performances will conclude with a live Q&A session led by CSO & Pops artistic staff, conductors and guest artists.
• You can also join the Live Chat when viewing on our website, YouTube or Facebook to submit questions in real time and connect with fellow viewers.

What are your plans to keep people safe when Music Hall does re-open?

• We are actively consulting with top health professionals, as well as with Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA), which manages Music Hall, and our fellow resident companies, to ensure a safe return. Re-opening plans include increased cleaning and sanitizing, touchless transactions, and reviews of safety screenings and other procedures with an eye toward reducing or eliminating physical contact. Upon re-opening, face coverings and physical distancing may also be required, in accordance with the latest health and safety protocols outlined by state health officials.

When will single tickets go on sale for spring concerts?

Single tickets for spring 2021 concerts, if available, will go on sale this fall. Let us know if you’d like to be notified.

Are you going to reschedule the Fall concerts?

• Although we won’t be able to reschedule the Fall performances as originally imagined, we’re looking for opportunities to bring back repertoire and artists from cancelled programs as soon as possible. Is there an artist or program you were particularly looking forward to? Let us know.

Is the Music Hall Box Office open?

• Yes, by phone and via email. The Box Office is currently closed to the public for in-person service and transactions. We are happy to assist you by phone at 513.381.3300 or online at [email protected].
