Professional Experiences: Performed as 4th/Utility Trumpet with the Utah Symphony during the 2019-20 season. I have also performed frequently with the Cleveland Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as a substitute musician.

Where do you draw inspiration from as a musician? I try to approach each performance with the idea that someone in the audience is hearing that evening's music for the first and possibly only time. To be able to hear some of humanity's great music for the first time is such a special experience; I try to channel that in order to bring as much emotion and enthusiasm as I can to make each performance unique and exciting.

Favorite orchestral work? Prokofiev's

What's on your playlist? It changes often depending on my mood, but a few of my favorites include Johann Sebastian Bach, Oscar Peterson, Clark Terry,  Mary Halvorson, Roomful of Teeth and Son Lux.

Hobbies outside of music? Running, cooking, collecting LPs and entertaining my cat, Patches.
