Where do you draw inspiration from as a musician? My parents, teachers I’ve had growing up, and my amazing colleagues in the CSO.

Favorite orchestral work(s)? Works by Mahler, Bruckner, Strauss, and Shostakovich.

What's on your playlist? Some classical music, but mostly pop songs that have a strong beat.

Favorite food? Boneless chicken wings, but I also really enjoy Japanese, Indian, Chinese, and Korean cuisines.

Hobbies outside of music? Lifting weights, podcasts, drinking tea, going for walks and always finding new things to learn about.

Fun fact about Daniel: I am the fifth generation of musicians in my family.
