The CSO engages audiences and communities with a goal to connect people, inspire learning and foster excellence through inclusive and broadly accessible programs. The Education & Community Engagement programs of the Orchestra create impact in these areas through robust school programs, community engagement founded on shared community goals, and instructional offerings that elevate our youth.
Instructional youth programs of the CSO challenge young people to rise to their potential as musicians, students and leaders of tomorrow. We emphasize 21st century skills and musical growth in our middle and high school instrumental curriculum.
The CSO’s education programs are developed to inspire learning, creativity and collaboration in students and educators through field trips, in-school opportunities, school residencies and educator workshops.
