The Schuhplattlers, or shoe clappers, are some of the best-known folk dancers in the Greater Cincinnati area. Their jumping, slapping, and spinning high energy Bavarian folk dances are amazing to watch and extremely entertaining. The group was first created when a Schuhplattlers group from Pittsburgh performed at the Germania Oktoberfest in 1971 and 1972. The dancers wear traditional Bavarian costumes, imported directly from Germany and are often seen performing Bockfest, Kolping’s Schützenfest, Germania’s Oktoberfest, the Downtown Zincinnati Oktoberfest, and the Donauschwaben Oktoberfest.

Cincinnati Baila! Dance Academy was created as a need of parents that found themselves raising children of a Latino heritage in the USA. While the children are fully immersed in the American culture and language, we also strive to expose them to Hispanic traditions and feel proud of them as well. Cincinnati Baila! was founded in 2010 by Sandra Vazquez and Raquel Guillen. Born and raised in Mexico where they studied Bailes Regionales Mexicanos.

Founded in 1994 by Dr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran, the Greater Cincinnati Indian Community Choir (Shanti Choir) features community singers of Indian origin. The group's repertoire is based on Classical Indian Ragas with lyrics largely in the Sanskrit language sourced primarily from ancient classics — clothed in choral polyphony. 

The Alliance of Chinese Culture & Arts USA is composed of the local chapters across regions in the USA —including here in Cincinnati! Its mission is to share Chinese culture, develop “East meets West” programs, and partner with professional arts organizations to host public events, linking culture and arts to our humanity through the powers of sight, sound, and touch. Since 2020, its mission has been extended to commit to bringing Asian culture & arts communities together to showcase Asian creative expression with the hopes of building a more vibrant and prosperous community through the power of arts.

Ijo-Ugo is a theatrical African dance and drumming organization based in Cincinnati that performs and teaches across the United States. Through vibrant dance and drumming, their mission is to Educate, Entertain and Engage in community events, and help bring awareness as it relates African Dances in Diaspora.

The McGing School of Irish Dance offers Irish Dance classes in a nurturing environment where thousands of students have discovered their passion since 1977. From their humble beginning the McGing Irish Dancers have grown to become a household name in the city of Cincinnati and are widely recognized around the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond.
